You know what they say, what goes up, must can come down. Well, what goes in, also has to come out for one unlucky 7-year old from Florida, USA.

The little boy was rushed to hospital after somehow choking on, and swallowing, a pair of grillz that his mum bought him from a flee market. I don't know what's more worrying - how he managed to get them down his throat, or what the hell was mumsie doing a)buying a kid grillz and b) from a flee market!! It's really not about second-hand mouth appliances.

The boys mum, Dawn Tedesco, said the grill popped off the boy's teeth and he swallowed it and started to choke on the piece of metal. Although she tried to get the grillz out, her son somehow swallowed them. They've been in his stomach for three days and doctors say the only way out is via, well, the Number 2 option!

While Ms. Tedesco said she regrets buying them, she also thinks the sale of grillz should be stopped. "I think everybody should know (not to) buy them. Don't do it," she said.

See, now there's another reason not to get your grill grilled. Not only do you look like a dirk, but it's not about trying to get them out on the potty if you do end up swallowing a pair!

We'll stick to wearing our Jimmy Saville-style jewellery round the neck where it's (relatively) safe (apart from green-neck-itus, obviously)!
