With the 2007 BET Awards just over a month away 50 has asked his fans to text in which song he should perform at the main event. Marketing genius or not it gives the world a chance to see which of the artist’s two new tracks are favourable. The choice is between Straight to the Bank and Amusement Park both taken from forthcoming follow up to The Massacre, Curtis.
The message simply reads;
“What song should 50 Cent perform at the 2007 BET Awards?”
There has been a massive response and fans of the G-Unit rapper have been suggesting their favourite – with many asking for him to perform both. Comments range from the basic to this from MySpace “friend”, ‘Switch Money’…
man go thru a couple if u can.. werd up but dat str8 to the bank would be crazy.. u kno u prob open the show cuz ya album dropping that day and normally when u open u either got a new single or album out... yo but when u do the part in str8 2 the bank "now work it out now".. either have some bad dancer b*tch come out and truly work that sh*t out.. or have a group of them come out all surrounding u really close with some sick dancing getting it in ...bottom line is i cant wait 2 see whatever u decide 2 do

In related news it has been confirmed that ATL’s T.I. will also be performing at the show which will be held on Tuesday, June 26 at 8pm Eastern Time.
And in kinda related news good luck to Corinne Bailey Rae who is nominated for Best Female R&B Artist and Best New Artist.
