Prince Wants To Sing With Amy
Artist: Amy Winehouse

His name is Prince, and he is funky. So funky, that even the Purple One knows a star when he sees one. Announcing a forthcoming UK tour called The Earth Tour, Prince said that he'd not only like to perform La Winehouse's Love Is A Losing Game, but he would like Amy to join him onstage.

He not only loves our music, he's digging our capital too. "I love London. I've had some of my favourite shows here," he said at a press conference in the capital today. He will only be playing London, UK dates and has also said he will only charge a max of £31 per ticket, in order that fans of all financial backgrounds will be able to come party like it's 1999! "Last time I was here, a lot of people didn't get to see me, so we're trying to make it affordable for everybody," he said.

The 80-million album selling Purple One is rumoured to be playing his Greatest Hits during the tour for the very last time. So if you want to hear Purple Rain, Lets Go Crazy and all that other good stuff, get ready to buy your tickets as soon as they go on sale. He will be playing seven dates at the O2 Arena from August 1, followed by smaller shows, to be announced. Each show will feature a different portion of his wide-ranging back catalogue. "We play so many different styles of music, it's really hard to get a full dose of what we do unless you come to several shows," he said. "I also have a wide fan base that comes to multiple shows all the time."

The man formerly known as Squiggle said he had learned about 150 songs from which to choose, and hinted that he may perform Amy's Love is a Losing Game. Asked if he would ask her on stage to perform with him, he replied: "Absolutely."

Fans can also expect to receive free CDs at the show, where Prince will be giving out free copies.
