This time Australia denies the rapper Blue Carpet Treatment…
It was earlier in April Calvin Broadus – known to many as Snoop Dogg – narrowly escaped time in jail after pleading no contest to drugs charges and possession of a gun.
Now the Drop It Like It’s Hot rhymester will not be able to attend Sunday’s MTV Australia Video Music Awards after he was denied entry into Aus’. Official’s claim he “isn’t the sort of bloke” they want on their soil.
Last month the rapper was denied entry to the UK and to add to his International plight Australia’s Immigration Minister, Kevin Andrews, explained, “The reality is in relation to this man, that he was given a warning the last time, he has a whole string of convictions, and, just two weeks ago I was told he was convicted on a number of charges again and sentenced to three years' imprisonment on two, and three years' imprisonment on another, with five years' probation and a suspended sentence.” Not before finishing with the nail in Snoop’s visitation coffin, "He has been denied entry into the United Kingdom because he was caught with others causing affray at Heathrow Airport. He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country." Deep!!!
