Snoop & P. Diddy Cancel All UK Tour Dates
Artist: P Diddy

A last minute shock has been announced by the Diddy & Snoop camp as Visa and UK entry denials for The Dogg have forced tour promoters to cave in and cancel all UK dates.

The mogul & the magnet had aligned themselves to perform five large-scale UK shows in London, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow that promised the extravagance of a hip hop pantomime transmitting the pair’s numerous era-defining hits: as experienced by the artist’s domestic US fans for years. Relieved Irish patrons however will still be able to see the spectacle on the March 31 and April 1, as Dublin does not fall under UK entry regulations.

This disappointment currently leaves 65,000 UK ticket-holders in limbo – with option to refund at point of purchase – as tour organisers tried desperately to remedy the situation this morning stating, "Incredible behind the scenes efforts were made to no avail to reverse the decision".

Moments later a spokesman declared that the musicians were "incredibly disappointed and devastated" as are many UK fans who criticise this as a pompous verdict by an increasingly paranoia-induced British Home Office. The spokesman also informed that press "P. Diddy & Snoop cannot believe it. They’ve been all over Europe playing to over 100, 000 fans without incident".

A solemn Snoop himself channelled his frustrations through an MTV broadcast earlier, attempting to plead with our government, "all I can do is sit in front of the camera and ask the people to let me in", whilst branding London as "one of the homes of hip hop". He added "They knew I was coming six, seven weeks ago, so they could have denied me access then. I cannot control my past - me being an ex-gang member, ex-drug dealer - but I know how to do what’s right, how to turn my life around."

British Home Office rules state that foreign citizens can be barred from entering the country if there were concerns about their presence. The spokesman concluded by informing the press, despite how late it may be to turn things around, "they sincerely hope the government will reconsider. Snoop has said that if the UK dates go ahead he’ll make a donation to an anti-violence charity."
