Joss Stone Links Up With Raphael Saadiq For New Album

UK Soulstress Joss Stone is readying her new album alongside R&B veteran Raphael Saadiq. Sohh.com has reported that the as-yet-untitled album will be out in the year.
As well as putting out classics with former groups Tony! Toni! Toné! And Lucy Pearl, Saadiq produced D’Angelo’s Grammy Award-winning song Untitled (How Does It Feel) as well as worked with The Roots, Kelis, Snoop Dogg, TLC and most recently on Mary J. Blige’s The Breakthrough. His own solo album Instant Vintage released in 2002 received five Grammy nominations.
This is Stone’s third LP after 2003’s Soul Sessions which went top five in the album chart and 2004’s Mind, Body & Soul which debuted at No.1 in the album chart and led to two Brit Awards and three Grammy nominations.
As well as working on her own material, Stone has contributed vocals to a Shy FX produced track for Dizzee Rascal’s forthcoming Maths and English album titled The Feeling. We’ve heard it and it’s big!
She’ll also be appearing in her first film role in the dragon fantasy movie Eragon which is out this xmas. We’ve seen the trailer and it looks like it might be big too.
