Not content with the third series of Making the Band, Diddy has hooked up with MTV for another idea, and they’re gonna run (or shall we say dance…) with it...
Ever since 2004’s election campaign when Mr Combs went all ‘Vote or Die’ on us, MTV have loved all things Diddy. He’s hosted the 2005 Video Music Awards, executive produced several popular shows, including Making the Band and now there’s a new project. The new show will be a competition series that will be all about street-dance crews from all over the US. Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs said in a statement yesterday, “Dance is one of the truest forms of expression, and there is a new cultural phenomenon emerging in different communities across America - young men and women are forming these dance troupes as a way to stay off the streets and out of the pitfalls of their everyday lives,” and continued with. “This show will showcase the drive, determination and expression of this dance generation - picture Rocky but with dance troupes.” RWD can’t wait to see Clubber Lang look-alikes bussing serious Beat Street moves, the moguls onto another winner.
