Universal Records recently snapped up Combs' label, BadBoy, in what turns out to be a worldwide distribution deal.
BadBoy, who've sold millions upon millions of records during the 1990s had been looking for a distribution deal since June of last year after ending their relationship with Arista.
Puffy's said to be delighted with the deal and so he should be! Universal are the biggest music distribution company in the world.
Now that Puffy's lost the recording services of Faith Evans and 112, hopes to bring in the money now lie with R&B veterans, New Edition. We can also expect releases from Loon, 8 Ball & MJG, Dream and the late, great, legenadry Notorious B.I.G.
We guess things things really won't stop when it comes to BadBoy!
