NEWS : The Streets Perform Last Ever Gig At The Big Reunion

Written by Nardene Scott on 28 Nov 2011

This weekend The Streets killed the stage for the very last time when they celebrated a decade of their career alongside Mike Skinner’s birthday at The Big Reunion.

All 7,500 fans who were lucky enough to witness the historic event, basically grabbed a slice of history as the band celebrated on stage with a drink or two at the Skegness Butlins resort. It wasn’t only The Streets who smashed Skegness to pieces in the largest indoor Winter music festival, 15,000 people raved to the likes of Chase & Status, Example, Rizzle Kicks, Devlin and Wretch 32 across six arenas.

Skinner wasn’t the only one celebrating another year as Chipmunk had a special birthday treat when friend Wretch 32 sang happy birthday to the 21 year old. Example as usual put on an electrifying show and proved why The Big Reunion is the best winter music festival going, check out the picture gallery below.
