Whilst in London, Jamaican dancehall artist and ‘Call Mi A Yardie’ star took time out of his schedule – he’ll be supporting Mavado alongside Chipmunk and Gappy Ranks in December – to breakdown his latest club warmer…

In an insightful interview with the ever-probing Tim Westwood, the dancehall artist stated that the DJ would make a good Yardie, “We got people saying they’re an Irish Yardie, you could be an English Yardie.”

As well as a collaboration with fellow black, green and gold islander Gyptian, Stylo revealed that Westwood’s hard work promoting the music he loves has well and truly paid off, “They know Westwood in Jamaica,” and then the Busta Rhymes fan explained how the Sneakbo featuring ‘Call Me A Naija’ remix came to light, “When I made ‘Call Mi A Yardie’ I thought, I have to make a remix innit,” simples.
