FASHION : Beyonce Stirs Controversy By Darkening Skin For French Magazine L’Officiel

For L’Officiel Paris’ 90th anniversary issue Beyonce had her skin darkened which makes a change from the usual Beyonce photo allegations but is it offensive?

While commentators and observers struggle to fully quantify whether or not to cry racism against one of the most famous black women in the world for darkening her skin in to make her appear more African, we’re caught by the irony of Beyonce’s frequent skin lightening accusations.
