On the day Apple released their new MacBook Pro [details here] invitations were sent out to a launch event in San Fransisco that clearly hints at the launch of the much-discussed iPad 2. Rumours about what we can expect from the tablet sequel are abundant and frequently debunked but with a debut date in site the new concern is whether in typical Apple style, the iPad 2 will be made available from the date of premiere; something none of the experts are willing to bet against.

So, with a date in the diary, we are less than a week away from finding out exactly what the iPad 2 has to offer.
