Ryan Reynolds is still attached to Deadpool even though he’s also Green Lantern, the project has reportedly just picked up a new director and the script has leaked online. Chances of this film being made are less than promising.

It’s been Comic Book Movie week in Hollywood apparently, for the first time though, some less positive news as the script for the much hyped but slowly developed Deadpool movie has leaked online. The movie which attached Ryan Reynolds after the character was born at the end of Wolverine: X-Men Origins has failed to catch fire with producers.

The project somehow maintained a pretty strong buzz despite a rotating door of attached directors but It had appeared earlier in the week that a decision was close to being made with Adam Berg taking on his first full-length feature, after his incredible award winning short [below] drew a lot of attention. The future of the project is again thrown into doubt today though with the leak of the film script which you can download here.

Similar leaks have been known to end projects but there have been instances in which such events have acted to boost anticipation. Thus far reaction to the Deadpool draft has been overwhelmingly positive but with Ryan Reynolds deep into production on the Green Lantern movie the likelihood of him remaining the star seems slim; so Deadpool as a film appears to be stuck at square one with a leaked script and no star.
