R&B diva and the wife of the late great Notorious B.I.G, Faith Evans was arrested at a drunken driving check point last Saturday night in Los Angeles. There’s Something About Faith – yeah there’s alcohol in her system.
The singer was arrested at a drunken driving check point in Marina del Ray in LA late Saturday night on suspicion of DUI (Driving Under Influence) at 10:40 PM (if she was drunk she’s a flipping light weight for being smashed so early in the night).
For those in the know, this isn’t the first time that she has had a run in with the fuzz, back in 2004 Faith and her husband Todd Russaw were arreseted and charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine (or as people fondly call it in the States, ‘that chronic and coke’) at a traffic stop in Atlanta. They spent thirteen weeks in rehab – fat lot of help that done her.
In the meantime Faith is gearing up for the release of her new album There’s Something About Faith, which will feature artists such as Snoop Dogg, Redman, Raekwon and Keisha Cole.
If you put two-and-two together; Faith Evans has got a new album dropping, Faith Evans gets arrested, Faith Evans has got some free publicity for new album – something smells a bit fishy huh?
That being said we here at RWD HQ love us some Faith Evans cause she knows how to belt out a tune so we can’t wait to hear her new album. Look out for There’s Something About Faith to drop on 5 October.
