In next month’s issue you should look out for Hattie’s interview with Drizzy Drake who releases his first studio album Thank Me Later on Tuesday 15 June. We wanted to keep all the content secret until the mag drops but we just had to give you a little morsel of something – Drake and Ri Ri goss anyone?
In a recent interview with The New York Times (due to drop on Sunday 13 June) Drake has been quoted as saying the Rude Girl singer ‘used him’ and there has been much rumour and speculation that has been flooding the net today.
Our editor Hattie (who freestyled to Drake during the interview – Young Money record deal to follow) asked the Canadian star, “What’s the situation there? Is it correctly quoted?” Drizzy responded with, “Yeah, it is a bit dramatic, you know. I don’t feel as I said it exactly like that, but all I said is that you know, she’s a phenomenal woman, and it was just the first time in a long time that I felt small.” Before continuing, “You know, I usually have confidence and it was the first time that I lost my footing around a woman, and you know, that’s what I was really trying to get across. I didn’t mean to you know be – she’s a great woman.”
Hattie then joked with the star, “She came across well, she looked, like, gangsta…” and Drake was fast to agree, “Yeah she’s a G”.
