NEWS : Chris Brown not granted UK visa…

Don’t beat up your sexy, popstar of a girlfriend or run the risk of the UK border authorities denying you access (even if you do have a UK tour scheduled), as Chris Brown found out the hard way earlier this week…

The Home Office ordered a ban to deny a working visa to American singer Chris Brown over his sentence for assaulting Rude Boy singer Rihanna last year. Allegedly Brown slammed Rihanna’s head against the window of a car in which the couple was traveling in before punching and biting her. We fully understand why officials didn’t let him in, imagine he just went on a rampage and started attacking the queens of UK pop, such as, Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen. NOT. A. GOOD. LOOK.

Brown was scheduled to kick off his series of concerts on these shores on Wednesday but had to make a u-turn and cancel his dates, leaving fans that had already purchased tickets feeling pretty gutted we imagine. Tour promoter SJM said on its website that the concerts had been cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances”.

Unforeseen, or, purely reasonable? You decide.
