NEWS : Plan B Still On Top And Announces UK Tour

It’s been a good year so far for East London rapper/singer Plan B, his new album The Defamation Of Strickland Banks is a certified number one in the UK, the lead single ‘She Said’ is still number one on NME’s Top Ten Charts list and he’s also announced an upcoming UK tour in the autumn…

The latest album from Forest Gate’s finest is a follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words. Posting a message on his twitter (@4PlanB) he gave a shout out to his fans saying “BIG THANKS everyone who helped make THE DEFAMATION OF STRICKLAND BANKS official #UK>>No.1<< album http://www.theofficialcharts.com/”.

Dates for his UK tour kick off on 6 October in Nottingham and finish up in Glasgow on 23 October. B will be playing at:

London O2 Academy Brixton (October 9)
Bristol O2 Academy (October 11)
Southampton Guild Hall (October 12)
Cambridge Corn Exchange (October 13)

Lincoln Engine Shed (October 17)
Preston 53ft (October 18)
Dundee Fat Sam’s (October 20)

He will also be playing at this summer’s Glastonbury Festival sharing the stage with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Corinne Bailey-Rae, Stevie Wonder, Nora Jones and MGMT.
