Ahead of this week’s highly anticipated film release for Iron Man II, New Era have teamed up with Marvel Entertainment to launch an exclusive 59FIFTY collection using the comic book artwork and iconic character features.

The joint venture produces the exclusive 10-piece collection of caps that come in an array of colours, all to match the detailed embroidery to accentuate the characters of Iron Man.

“Our heroes have experienced some of their greatest trials and tribulations recently, but now there’s going to be a renewed hope among their ranks,” said Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer & Editor-in-Chief Marvel Entertainment LLC. “As our heroes emerge from the darkness, the Marvel Universe is going to be a more optimistic place than we’ve seen in a quite awhile. But that doesn’t mean we’re making things easy for our characters!”

Remember this is not the first time we have seen this partnership. With the original limited edition Iron Man release in 2008, it was a masterpiece in polyurethane vinyl. This year New Era ‘War Machine 59FIFTY’ has a unique take on the classic style with a glossy visor, satin lining and metallic silver panels complete with glow-in-the-dark stitched eyes…

To celebrate the launch, New Era are holding private events in their London and New York flagship stores on 30 April with four of the styles being unveiled on the evening, and if its one thing we know; New Era definitely knows how to keep the hats flowing off the shelf.
