The rumoured rift in Girls Aloud seems to be getting bigger and bigger after it was revealed that none of the band members have spoken to Cheryl Cole since last September and that Nicola Roberts is ‘forcing’ Nadine Colye out of the group…

Tensions have certainly risen in the group with rumours of back stabbing and potential break-ups and reports of Nicola trying to oust fellow band mate Nadine doesn’t help.

According to Heat magazine a close friend of Nadine said “She feels Nicola is silently forcing her out. She thinks Nicola is being two faced. She’s desperate for Cheryl not to listen to Nicola”. The girls are set to reunite in the summer but if the rumours prove to be true then it’s less than likely they will.

With Cheryl focusing more on her solo career it seems that a Girls Aloud comeback is becoming less likely and Nicola has go on record saying that none of the band members have been in contact with her since supporting Coldplay back in September. However Nadine has denied this and has been trying to get in contact with her since the breakdown of her marriage to CAshley Ashley Cole, “She thinks she’s been made to look stupid. She’s desperate for people to know she’s not a b***h. She’s blaming Nicola. She’s gutted.”

This was always bound to happen at some point, with five girls in a group who speak their mind the handbags and the fake nails where bound to start flying and scratching sooner or later.
