RWD travelled to Boreham Wood (trust us that’s far!) to catch up with Bless Beats on the set of his new video which features the crazy mash-up of Wiley, Remi Nicole and Plug One (Posdnuos) from De La Soul all on one track!

Later next month, Bless Beats will be dropping Let It Go from his forthcoming album and with a funky, eclectic mix of artists it’s sure to be a summer anthem for the man behind Wearing My Rolex.

We managed to catch up with Bless on set at the videoshoot and he told us about the idea behind the track, “I was just trying to do something different that appealed to a mass audience, trying to capture people from all different ages, and people who are into different stuff. Like, Remi’s from her Motowny kinda sound, and then De La Soul with the old school hip hop, and Wiley’s obviously nu school grime, and there’s some dance sounds on there as well,” he breaks down the mixing pot of sounds on the track. “The idea is that we’ll get people that are into those kinds of music to pay attention to this record.”

Keep checking back on the site for a full behind the scenes run-down on set, pics and vids, as well as interviews with all of the people on the track (yes even Wiley who actually turned up!) “On this tune, no one was told what to do,” Eskiboy told us before he filmed his shots. “So therefore Bless Beats just done what he wanted to do. No one said, ‘you have to do it that way’, he just made a song and it came together.”
