X-Factor ’08 semi-finalist, Diana Vickers (the warbling, bare-footed blonde one), has admitted that as soon as the show was over, calls from (the soon to be former) Mrs Cole took a nose dive.

With a single, album and tour to promote, the X-Factor loser revealed that once the bright lights and cameras were off, her musical mentor didn’t bother to stay in touch.

When asked whether she’s stayed in contact with any of the X show crew, the 18 year-old answered, “Me and Ruth are really close… JLS as well”, but when asked whether she’d heard from Chezza lately, Diana answered “No not really”.

But we’re sure Vickers won’t hold the lack of contact against her former mentor. With a pre-divorce, six month cooling off period underway (should we start calling her Cheryl Tweedy again now!?) alongside gearing up to support the Black Eyed Peas on the European leg of their The E.N.D. World Tour (hitting London on 5/6 May, and Birmingham 8 May) the nation’s sweetheart’s had a lot on her plate lately.
