Blood, Sweat & Fears is a live magazine taking place in central London in March 2010, showcasing the best of emerging British talent from across a load of creative backgrounds. The day is going to try and take what you would usually have on paper, and make it live! It’s going to be interactive, it’s going to be new and it’s going to feature artists, illustrators, musicians and a Haute Coiffure hairdresser.

The idea is that traditional magazine elements such as photo shoots and interviews will be transformed into activities that will let you interact with them whilst inviting the audience into the artist’s work environment. The artists, their work, the event and the audience’s participation will be documented across the five days and rendered back onto paper to create a covetable limited edition publication, due for release in May.

As well as the timetable of live events, the space will act as a pop-up shop showcasing the work of young artists and designers across the five days, starting on 17 March and will run until the 21st at 65/67 Broadwick Street in support of Art Against Knives.

Chances are you didn’t know what a live magazine was before you read this, and that you still won’t be any the wiser unless you get on down to it on the 17th. This is a once in a lifetime event, so get involved. Some of RWD staff are going to try and make it down, so come be a part of it!
