Get inspired, change your perspective. Take action. ADOBE YOUTH PRODUCING CHANGE is a programme of 10 short films made by teens across the globe. Don’t miss this inspiring film screening, reception and hip hop performance 19-20 March at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival.

Young people are making a positive difference across the globe, changing their lives and improving their communities. Seven teen filmmakers from London, Armenia, Mozambique and the United States will be there to showcase their films

The films selected from more than 250 submissions from around the world include Just a Normal Day where young filmmakers in South London expose the reality of life for young people who are targets of arbitrary ‘stop and search’ and ill treatment by police. Arran Walker, one of the young filmmakers speaks out at what he has experienced as “discriminatory” behavior towards young people. “When we made just a normal day we wanted to show that young people’s right to feel safe on the street is sometimes being violated by the very people who are there to protect us’

“The Adobe Youth Producing Change at Human Rights Watch Film Festival has given us a unique opportunity to share this story with audiences worldwide.”

Just A Normal Day

Also in the programme, a moving and empowering story of a young man’s journey to reconnect with his family after being orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Mozambique, a look at the social implications of bottled water, young homeless people triumphing in New York, and child labour in Armenia.

Join them in celebrating the power of young people to make a difference.
