In recent weeks it has been suggested that the Empire State of Mind duo of Jay Z and Alicia Keys were set to record an anthem for this summer’s World Cup, however this has now all been put to bed. The plans were scrapped after Miss Keys admitted she hasn’t a ‘Scooby Doo’ about football. She told the Sun, “If we did a record about soccer it would be obvious we didn't know much more about the sport than who David Beckham is.”
