Having worked with Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder and N-Dubz and noted as “The modern day Marvin Gaye” by producer Fraser T. Smith it seems like we were definitely on point when we featured McLean in our About To Blow section a few months ago.

Since then his Twitter page has been on fire with Semtex, Example, Boy Better Know, Ironik and Chipmunk to name a few all dropping by and showing their support. At the same time McLean’s tracks are being played across MTV Base, 4Music,The Box, Kiss and Smash Hits.

Today alone @ChipmunkArtist tweeted “I dunno about you… But right now I’m 500% supporting @McLeanArtist !!!” Whilst @DJIronik confirmed studio time, “@McLeanArtist yo bro am i in studio with u Thurs?” And 4Music also jumped on the McLean bandwagon, “@4MusicGossip: Here’s the video for our latest VIP track, My Name by @McLeanArtist.”

With the My Name video starting the year with a bang it looks like 2010 is set to be a big year for McLean.
