NEWS : The Futureheads Complete Fourth Album

New single and tour details released…

The unstoppable ball of indie that is The Futureheads have finished work on their fourth album this week, revealing details of their latest single and impending tour midweek. The sons of Sunderland have been working on the album, titled The Chaos which will reportedly see them turn back to their pop-punk ways.

The Futureheads have had three top 20 albums so far, with their debut self titled album being the highest at #11. The album, being released later this year, has been hotly anticipated as the band seemed to be splitting whilst on tour in 2006 over problems during writing of their second album.

The tour dates, which will go from Norwich to Northampton, are as follows:

26th April – Norwich, Arts Centre

27th April – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms

28th April – Leeds, Cockpit

1st May – Middlesbrough, The Empire (Club night)

2nd May – Manchester, Academy 2

3rd May – Sheffield, The Leadmill

4th May – Birmingham, Academy 2

6th May – London, Scala

7th May – Gloucester, Guildhall

8th May  - Coventry, Kasbah (Club night)

10th May – Bristol, Thekla

11th May – Exeter, The Cavern

12th May – Portsmouth, Wedgewood  Rooms

13th May – Northampton, Roadmenders
