You are cordially invited to Katy Perry and Russell Brands wedding… clothing optional…

Come on you knew that this wedding was never ever going to be normal with these two eccentric love birds. Speaking to the Metro.co.uk the side splitting comedian joked “We are going to do the wedding naked!”

“All the families will be naked!” he added “We’re still deciding what to do. There’s no juicy details yet”.

Russ has started to have some uncanny dreams concerning his wedding which ‘don’t make sense’ to him. He thinks that his ‘vicar will start melting’ (I don’t how Katy’s hardcore Christian conservative parents will warm to that idea) and the guests at the front row “will turn into people from my old school. And then everyone will only say the word ‘potato’ ”. It sounds like he’s either back on the ‘stuff’ or he needs to see a dream therapist (most likely it’s the latter).

Recently the newly engaged couple had a little tiff (which will probably the first of many) at the pre-Grammy party in LA where Perry was hoping to introduce him to her showbiz pals like Rihanna and Taylor Swift. However Brand being the edgy comedian we know (and love) was more interested in making World War II and drug jokes, which is perfectly normal… if you live in Russell Brand’s world or have a British sense of humour.

As he turned up for the Clive Davis Party the British comedian joked “Sorry, I thought this was a Clive Dunn event. I thought we’d be here talking about Dad’s Army, I’ve been misled.” Brand then started to sing the theme tune to Dad’s Army (‘Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler…’), the organisers laughed nervously as they didn’t know what in the world he was banging on about.

Once he’s on a roll you know there’s no stopping him, the controversial funny should have stopped but he didn’t as proceeded to make comparisons between The Grammy’s and coke (and no we’re talking about the drink). Brand said “Grammys… I know why it’s called that. That’s how much coke you need to cope with it.”

The Pop princess wasn’t pleased with his jokes and told him to “Stop it and behave! I don’t want to upset the Grammys, I want one”.

However it was all water under the bridge as Russell got on with Katy’s friends and couple were back to their lovey dovey ways.

Despite the ‘peculiar’ dreams, the dispute at the party and a potentially controversial wedding Russell has maintained his sincere love for his wife-to-be saying “I’m getting married to a beautiful woman. I’m enjoying my work. What could be better? Nothing!”

Awwwww true love, makes you feel all warm inside doesn’t it?
