Yeah, yeah we know the New Years is over but 14th February is Chinese New Year and Nike have collaborated with the creative geniuses at SBTG to release a new pack celebrating the year of the Tiger…
Every Chinese New Year Nike always put out a trainer pack coinciding with the ancient animal it’s associated for that year.
Last year it was the mighty Ox who they blessed with designs for the Nike Blazer Hi’s and Air Max 1’s, well this year the claws (and fangs) are out as it’s the year of Tiger (oddly enough I was born on The Year Of Tiger back in ‘86).
This year’s pack sees Nike putting out three of their most popular trainers the Air Force 1’s and the Dunk Hi and Lo’s. Nike have commissioned customizing kings SBTG to design the popular kicks and they have definitely pulled out all the stops drawing inspiration from the tiger’s aggressive yet beautiful nature.
