They were love’s young dream (less young in her case), and then they were no more… but it looks like it’s all back on track for Nicole Scher-Shlooer-sherr-zinger (the fit one outta the Pussycat Dolls) and Lewis Hamilton…

Back at the beginning of the year, after a 20 month relationship, 31 year old Nicole and 25 year old Lewis sadly announced they’d called an end to their relationship, blaming their hectic careers. Mirroring their earlier break up back in September 2009 (allegedly due to Lewis’s inability to commit), the love birds have now done a complete U-turn and were seen showing public signs of affection out and about in Hollywood yesterday.

According to reports in The Times, a friend (always doubt these dubious quick-to-speak-to-the-press friends) admitted “they took a tough decision and both regretted calling it off almost immediately”.

During the outing in Hollywood, Nicole allegedly joked with a shop assistant when she was asked if there was anything particular she was looking for, saying “This year – my wedding dress”.

A word to the wise Nic, if commitment issues made Lewis run in the first place, probably not the best time to start making wedding jokes!
