The owner of Glastonbury isn’t so tight-lipped…
According to Michael Eavis, the founder of the Glastonbury Festival, has reveal that the Gigantic Muse and legend of Stevie Wonder look set to headline this years Glastonbury festival. Speaking at the Event Production Show in the Olympia 2 in London, Eavis confirmed that Muse will play on Saturday the 26th, and that it was possible that Stevie Wonder could headline the Sunday after.
While it’s not confirmed that the two will headline, clues have been dropped by Michael’s daughter,Emily Eavis. Her statement today (3rd Feb) about one of the headliners having “never played the event before” have left mouths watering and mind crunching to work out who it will be. Muse was already widely rumored to be topping the bill on Saturday night. With U2 already headlining on the Friday night, Muse and Stevie Wonder would slot in perfectly
Tickets should be hot stuff, with a line up like that, I’d climb over mountains to get to Glasto this year, it would be ‘The Sunshine Of My Life’?? Get it? Stevie Wonder? Oh fine, suit yourselves…
