No, not Beyoncé, Solange!

Solange Knowles, the little sister of Beyoncé Knowles, is set to cover the Michael Jackson song I Want You Back on the upcoming Of Montreal album. Solange is making a guest appearance on Of Montreal’s next album, and the two acts evidently had enough fun in the studio that they’re now exploring how it feels to share the stage (and a live audience).

Keen to be distanced from her sister, Knowles’ new collaboration should come as a bit of a surprise as Of Montreal are very much an unknown Indie band, bar a few informed people such as myself, but then again, Solange does have to do something spectacular to get noticed as anything but Beyoncé’s Sister in the music business.

Power to her! I’m always a fan of independence in music, I’m looking forward to the album now, and I also have my eye on Solange too.
