America went absolutely baloney for the Superbowl this past weekend, and if you’re not a fan of the ‘other football’ you can’t deny that it’s kind of a big deal.

Aside from the New Orleans Saints defeating the Indianapolis Colts, all eyes were on the biggest advertising showcase in the world as the big brands spent big bucks on airing their ware.

Our favourite however has to be the following, which ironically enough was promoting the actual game. Featuring Jay-Z and an amazing orchestra the ad features Jigga reciting a classical rendition of Run This Town which sounds all kinds of brilliant! We can just picture Hova kicking off future concerts with this. Jay make it happen!

Also Russell Brand had the following to say on the weekend’s oval balled activities via his Twitter page:

“Saints Vs Colts? Holy folk sweating in a contest with young horses? I watched a film with that premise and was judged to be a pervert.”
