NEWS : Florence + the Machine Work On A Fuzzy Follow-Up To Lungs

Florence Welch and her well oiled Machine have been hard at work in the studio with producer Paul Epworth making a ‘harder’ album than the last.

In between rehearsing for their mash up performance with Dizzee Rascal at the BRITs tonight, Flo has given an indication what a follow-up to the number one album Lungs might sound like.

“It sounds a bit more fuzzy, a bit harder,” she explained to the BBC. “If the first album was animal and anatomical, I think this one is chemical and elemental.”

We’re not sure what that means, but we’re excited all the same! Florence has also made plain that she’s like to link up with Thom Yorke at some point. “I think that he’s a really amazing musician, I’d like to do something with him in the future,” she said of the radiohead singer. “I’ve never met him but I’m a big fan of his work. I think it could work – I haven’t done anything about it though.”
