If his twitter profile is anything to go by, MOBO award-winning Chipmunk could soon be joining the wide array of buxom, blonde beauties that famously make up the cast of everyone’s favourite teen soap. The Diamond Rings rapper tweeted this morning:

“I’m gonna be in Hollyoaks ”

Alongside touring the UK and releasing chart topping singles, Chip will have to make time to sip a pint in The Dog and munch a Tony Hutchinson pasta special at Il Gnosh, not forgetting to bag himself a night in The Loft with one of the infamous McQueen sisters.

In an interview with E4 Chipmunk admitted to being a fan of the show, saying, “When I’m at home I’ll watch it with my mum”, and even went on to perform a Hollyoaks inspired free-style spitting, “Believe in god ’cause I’m a holy bro/holy show/cross my skin and I’m a holy woe/tune into Hollyoaks/fo sho!”

At the ripe old age of 19, Chip’s won a bag of awards, earned an army of fans and topped the single and album charts alike. But as every good grime artists knows, you’ve not properly made it till you’ve appeared in Hollyoaks!
