NEWS : Calvin Harris, La Roux and more to perform for War Child

War Child are are hosting an exclusive concert with some of the biggest and best British artists in the O2’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Kasabian, La Roux, Calvin Harris and some very special guests will be coming together in aid of War Child at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 16 February. Following that evening’s BRIT Awards, 2,000 fans will see the line-up of artists, celebrating the very best in British music while helping to raise funds for War Child.

War Child’s annual post-BRITs party follows in the footsteps of last year’s concert at the same venue, which featured performances from The Killers and Coldplay with special guest appearances from Gary Barlow and Bono. All profits from the night will go to aid the international charity’s work for children in war zones across the world.

Kasabian were delighted to be involved. “War Child’s work is absolutely vital. Simple! They have done so many beautiful things and to help raise money for them to extend the reach of their amazing work is a huge honour.”

Tickets go on sale at 9am 3 February. See Warchild.org.uk for more information.
