Despite collaborating with Chipmunk on her debut single, Daisy Dares You reveals she’s not a fan of grime music and only teamed up with the Diamond Rings rapper to “benefit from his popularity”.
n an interview with BBC Newsbeat 16 year old Daisy reveals she only worked with Chipmunk on Number One Enemy to benefit from his popularity, claiming, “It’s good for the song because it’s given me an instant popularity” but admitted that grime music is “not my kind of music but… it’s helped me getting played”.
Oh no, surely not another case of an otherwise pretty mainstream artist cashing in on the grime scene to give herself an edge.
Bet Chipmunk’s feeling dirty and used.
